Chinese Stir-Fried Beef with Broccoli

Ingredients:

  • 300g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 large head of broccoli, cut into florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large pan or wok over high heat. Add beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove beef and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, add the remaining oil. Sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  3. Add broccoli florets and a splash of water; cover and steam for 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Return the beef to the pan. Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and beef broth in a small bowl, then pour over the beef and broccoli.
  5. Stir in cornstarch mixed with a little water to thicken the sauce. Cook for a few more minutes until everything is well coated and heated through.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve with steamed rice.
             

Sweet and Sour Pork

Ingredients:

  • Pork tenderloin
  • Bell peppers
  • Pineapple 
  • Soy sauce 
  • Ketchup 
  • Sugar
  • Vinegar

    Instructions:
  1. Fry pork pieces.
  2. Stir-fry with bell peppers and pineapple in a sweet and tangy sauce.
            

            

General Tso's Chicken

Ingredients:

  • Chicken thighs 
  • Soy sauce 
  • Garlic 
  • Ginger, 
  • Hoisin sauce 
  • Sugar
  • Vinegar

    Instructions:
  1. Fry battered chicken pieces.
  2. Toss in a sweet, tangy sauce with garlic and ginger.
